ITS Supports R Charity with the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge
15 of ITS’s team are excited and primed to take part in the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge on Saturday 20th May, to raise money for R Charity. The entire route is 24 miles long and includes 5,200ft (1,585m) of ascent, including Pen-y-Ghent (694 metres), Whernside (736 metres) and Ingleborough (723 metres).
ITS’s chosen company charity, R Charity raises funds to enable the Royal Liverpool and Broadgreen University Hospitals NHS Trust (The Royal) to provide the best possible health care to our patients from Merseyside, Cheshire, Lancashire, North Wales and the Isle of Man.
R Charity’s aims are to make sure that care in the new Royal is the very best by ensuring doctors and nurses have the latest state-of-the-art equipment to achieve the best possible outcomes for patients, and to provide an environment that gives the best experience for patients and families anywhere in the NHS.
ITS will attempt a hike of the three largest peaks in Yorkshire with a target time of 12hrs and are raising much needed funds for the Royal. Please show your support by donating here.
