ITS Finally Makes the Move to Saighton
ITS Technology Group have been trying to relocate to Saighton, Chester for some time. As one of the fastest growing technology companies in the UK, ITS struggled to find suitable business premises near Saighton village; now they have finally relocated to Saighton village and are based at Elm House Farm.
From the outside the building looks like a rustic converted barn, with peaceful views over the Cheshire countryside, from the in the inside the building is clean and modern with superfast internet, a busy team and buzzing atmosphere.
The move to Saighton, Chester is good news for the village, not only has ITS started recruiting for new team members, their ambitious growth strategy will see them creating more new roles based at Elm House Farm. In addition to helping support the local economy ITS also plan to improve the broadband infrastructure for local businesses and residents.
Roy Shelton CEO of ITS Technology Group and Chair of Huntington Parish Council said, “My comments are well documented that ITS was forced to invest in premises outside Saighton. Our enquiries for suitable premises in this area reached a dead-end, even though developments such as Saighton Army Camp had business premises in the original planning application. We are now delighted to be based where we want to be. We have used our own technology to benefit from superfast broadband at Elm House Farm. We use a wireless radio connection that provides over 50Mbps of broadband speed through the open air back to its source 6km away."
He continued "Our hope is that we can use this type of technology to improve the infrastructure locally, then Saighton and the surrounding areas will be able to attract and retain more local businesses, which can only benefit the local economy and improve the quality of life for its residents.”
The ITS team are very settled in their new head office, team members say they feel privileged to be able to work in such a stunning location.
