INCA Conference 2017

Posted on October 24, 2017

The INCA 2017 annual conference is being held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, in the great city of Newcastle upon Tyne.

The Minister for Digital, Rt Hon Matt Hancock MP will give the keynote speech, and discussions will follow on progress in the year since INCA published the Building Gigabit Britain report, which was followed by government commitments to action.

Delegates at the conference will get the latest info on nearly £2bn of new funding initiatives including the Digital Infrastructure Investment Fund, Local Full Fibre Networks, plus 5G Testbeds and Trials. Projects will be debated focusing on the reduction in costs of deploying new networks, schemes to extend rural broadband coverage and new initiatives to support the altnet sector.

The Conference will run as a one day event with a series of plenary sessions, interspersed with parallel workshops and panel discussions. As a Silver sponsor of the event, Daren Baythorpe, MD and Lisa Harding, Partner Development Manager of ITS Technology Group, both look forward to welcoming delegates and visitors to the ITS stand. Feel free to ask Lisa and Daren about the recent ITS National Networks Goes Live announcement, or indeed any of ITS' future growth plans. See you there!
