A Word from the CEO - Springing into Service

Most people like me love this time of year as it brings fresh ideas, more sunshine and longer days. With a fresh eye we have taken a good hard look at ITS to see what makes us special and what does not for both customers and employees. 

Talent Acquisition and Retention

One of the biggest things I have learnt over the years is how critical it is to attract  the right people into the right roles, support them well and retain them. This is something we have started to focus a lot of effort into over the past six months. Mark Keen our CFO is overhauling our employee benefits packages and HR framework. We have taken our brand to the next level to incorporate culture, qualities and values. Our Service Desk and has a new manager, Katie Noonan who has been with ITS for over two years and two new members in her team Jessica Breeze and Mario Rueda. As a result our incident volumes are now at an all-time low. 

I am also delighted that three of our staff have completed 1yr apprenticeships and all three have been offered and accepted full time roles within our support team. Investing in young people is our future and one we are very committed to.

We are proud that we are attracting bright people who have experience with corporate giants such as KPMG, Capita and BT. We also now have bi-lingual Spanish and Welsh speakers. Something I am also proud of is the high proportion of women in ITS performing critical roles across the business compared to many other IT companies. Network Upgrades and Customer Service

One of our key Anglesey (North Wales) wireless network links has been now been upgraded giving the service more stability and better scalability, a firm commitment we made following our acquisition of Xwavia. Moving forward we will be communicating with our customers when and where upgrades are or have taken place and where they are planned once a quarter. We will also be sending out a satisfaction survey in the near future, so please respond and share your ideas and thoughts.
