ITS were tasked with providing around the clock services via Pirtek’s voice service which consisted of numerous lines and calls delivered by BT, along with a traditional telephone system which had been on site for over 10 years. The owner Colin May, recognised that at some point he would have to upgrade his equipment as it was getting less reliable but was constrained by balancing the need to maintain a low cost base.
ITS reviewed Colin’s land communications strategy including the current costs of land lines, calls and equipment support and a full analysis of current services, on-going costs and any unnecessary ad hoc items. We set about designing a solution which would reduce cost, complexity and above all meet the current and future demands of the business.

ITS proposed a hosted solution to Colin as it would secure his customer support number for his client on a 24 x 7 basis, without being tied to the copper wires. The cost of providing the equipment is lower, with costs translated onto monthly licence fees. The result of this is that we were able to fully update the franchise, improve on client service and secure his technology for the future. All of this was achieved without the need of increasing Colin’s operating budget.
