shephards building.jpgOryxAlign met ITS Technology Group at an event in London, and after a number of unsatisfactory experiences with a major network operator they decided to become an ITS wholesale network partner.

OryxAlign provide connectivity to individual companies, typically offering speeds of 50Mbps, 100Mbps and 1Gbps. They also provide managed IT services, such as a service desk, backup & disaster recovery, enterprise security, email management, anti-virus, device management and cloud services including voice and Microsoft Office365.

“Our reputation is very important, so when we partner with third parties, it is paramount that the services we provide are excellent quality. The range of services that we offer means that it is imperative that the connectivity is reliable and good quality.” said Carl Henriksen, CEO of OryxAlign.

Up to 10Gbps for a Six Storey Multi Tenanted Building

OryxAlign are based at The Shepherds Building, the first multi-tenanted office block to access the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham network.

Access to the building was challenging, as it did take some time to secure the wayleave with the building management company. ITS worked closely with the building management team and their legal team. The ITS project manager also worked with OryxAlign to overcome these issues and it also helped that OryxAlign were a tenant in the building.

Since the connectivity has been live, it has been very stable and there has been a noticeable improvement in the speed and quality of connection.

Moving Customers onto the ITS Network

The connectivity will be used by a number companies in the building, giving them reasonably-priced high-speed broadband services, as well as being the backhaul for the buildings WiFi. The WiFi will be available in the public spaces including the café and breakout spaces.

Carl Henriksen concluded, “Businesses sometimes expect that high-speed broadband is easy for them to get if they are based in a city, however that isn’t always the case. The ITS LBH&F network has helped to provide a good quality service that wasn’t there before. Not only are we using the connectivity ourselves, we are now so confident that we are moving our customers onto it, as well as providing it to new customers. Some of these customers are in the same building as us so that demonstrates how pleased we are with the service.”
